Grooming
Despite it’s abundant coat, the Lhasa
Apso is not difficult to groom. It’s fur doesn’t
tend to knot easily unless it is not at all
tended to for a long time. Every now and
again the dog should be washed with shampoo and
a nourishing conditioner, then blow dried while
brushing the fur with a steal pronged brush.
This simple procedure is enough to ensure that
your friend will look his absolute best!
If, however, you are not enthusiastic at the
idea of having to cope with a long “head of hair”
your breeder or a competent groomer will be able
to help you find many practical solutions that
will allow you all the same to enjoy the company
of this dog with out any hair dressing problems.
He may have a few less flowing lochs, but all
the same will give you years of joy heaps of
company!
